I remember getting into hit-record because it reminded me of this creator community online with Johnathan Frakes, hah. Journaling, writing, exploring. Look forward to seeing you around, Joe!
So pleased to see your journal post pop up. Thus I joined Substack. I am an old bird ( 69) who admires your work and you as a human. You gained a million points ( pun intended) when Fallon asked you if you were stranded and had to pick just 1 LP ,you chose Harry Nilsson The Point ! Looking forward to Joe's Journal ; Thank You
My first journal entry that was just for me (not something I had to write for school) was in 1999. I was just starting 9th grade and was writing about a puppy that my parents brought home. I still have every journal Iāve ever written in.
I fell off journaling a number of years back⦠and then your email showed up as Iām in the cooldown period after an autistic meltdown, so I think youāve inspired me to actually start writing my thoughts down again by hand. At the very least, I should type them up. But I do have a fondness for the spiral notebooks and comp books. They prime something ā¦. *intention* ⦠when I sit down with one of those and a pen in my hand.
Thank you. And thank you for your habit of showing up when needed most.
Iām glad to see you here. I have been writing on Substack for over 2 years and I just love it here, the community is great and you donāt get this ugly feeling like in other platforms. Welcome š¤
My Step daughter (a teacher) has a screen saver on her laptop of this composition notebook š. I have one here. Somewhere ⦠but it is full so ā¦. Iām on a legal pad for nowā¦.. heavy sighā¦
Play some music occasionally as a journal entry.!
Looking forward to reading more from you, Joe. ā¤ļøš“
